Once you are on television and have reached a level of stardom, you are bound to run into lots of fans. A lot who would just love a selfie moment or an autograph. A fan approached Ed O’Neill for a photo. The Modern Family star thought it was just another one of his many fans but he was wrong. When the photo was shared on social media, he realized he had made a big and awkward mistake.

Ed O’Neill, Modern Family’s patriarch was just minding his business in an airport lounge. A fan suddenly arrived and asked if she could take a picture with him. After the picture, she was so excited. She thanked the actor and happily walked away. She posted the picture on social media and the internet went wild about the fan’s identity.
