10. Celibacy

Tesla had said that he loved a girl once in his life when he was at a younger age. He chose not to pursue his love because according to him it became a obstacle in his path of research. For this reason he chose celibacy and did not get involved with another person intimately for the rest of his life. It is easy to say that research and knowledge were his only true loves.
