3. Stolen Diamonds
Although the Pawn Stars are generous with their offers, some clients will actually try to sell items that are not theirs. For example, in one of the episodes, Rick bought a pair of diamond earrings for $40,000. Although it turned out that the earings were authentic and real diamonds, the person selling them did not actually own them. The diamonds were actually stolen and sold on TV through the Pawn Stars. The bad news was the thief burnt through all of the cash before the police were able to maintain the situation. This caused Rick to return the jewelry without any compensation.
