13. ANNA KANDL AND ELLA CUARES
Very sadly, the parents of these twins abandoned them at birth, leaving one of them at a park and another at the hospital doorstep in 2006. Both of the girls’ adoptive parents came across each other through the adoption referral process and then kept in touch through Facebook. Karen, Anna’s adoptive mom, started noticing how bizarrely similar the girls were when they started growing up. She also previously had the knowledge that they had the same birth date and pieced the fact together that they were twins. A DNA test instantly confirmed her suspicion and Anna and Ella reunited in 2013.
