Avocado’s have the same creamy texture found in butter. However as I say this, it should be done in moderation. Using too much avocado could leave you with some ugly green cookies which you will only be able to pull off on Halloween. Avocado’s can replace some butter in your baking recipes to provide a healthier and possibly creamier tasting dish.

When used in conjunction with butter in baking recipes it will often lead to a better tasting dish. The saltiness of the butter needs to be added though else things like scones may taste as bland as bread. Things like cookies, banana bread and brownies all substitute well with avocado.
