Use Citrus-Rind to Start Seed
A great way to start seedlings is using grapefruit, oranges and other rinds from such citrus fruits. You could use them for this purpose by making a hole on them, right at the bottom to allow for drainage. You can then add some damp soil. When they are ready for planting outside you could always plant it all into the ground. The citrus is great for making the soil acidic. Should you decide to use this hack, make sure whatever you are planting is an acid-loving plant.
