The sperm from two different men can fertilize separate eggs, which result in twins. Sperm can remain alive and active in a woman’s reproductive tract for several days after sex has taken place. Even though it’s possible, this phenomenon rarely occurs in humans. It is, however, quite common in cats and dogs.
